The media has been used against us for as long as it existed. Take the pic below. It was a cover of Life Magazine that depicted Professor Angela Davis looking morose, downtrodden and guilty. They used the imagery and language like "fugitive" to turn the public opinion away from her favor. But we remixed it. She wasn't a goddamn fugitive. She was (and is) a freedom fighter and a hero.
